ELM TOWERS BUILDING
Owned and operated by the same family since 1948, Elm Towers is a traditional New York City “pre –war” building ideally situated only 10 minutes by subway into upper Manhattan. The Manhattan bound N or W train is just a short walk from the building, as is Astoria’s culturally diverse restaurants, sidewalk cafes, night life and shopping.
Elm Towers is a 6 story, 76 unit residential apartment building featuring studio, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments. In May 2006 ownership implemented a capital improvement program by investing over $400,000 in the building, which included upgrades to the apartments, laundry room, lobby, grounds, tenant storage area, lighting, signage and hallways.
Managed by Kaled Management Corp., both Kaled and ownership are dedicated to constantly improving and maintaining the quality of the building. Our “hands-on” approach to doing business and open lines of communication enable us to best serve the needs of our tenants.
ASTORIA
Named for famous New York millionaire John Jacob Astor, Astoria was first settled by the Dutch and Germans in the 17th century. A wave of immigration began in the 1890’s and continues to this day. Astoria has become one of New York City’s most culturally diverse and stimulating neighborhoods. Birthplace to such notable people as singer Tony Bennett, Yankee legend Whitey Ford and actor Christopher Walken, Astoria’s convenience to Manhattan and array of restaurants, cafes, parks, museums and ethnicity have made it the quintessential New York neighborhood.
